Working in Partnership Programme

This is the web presence for the NHS Working in Partnership Programme (WiPP). WiPP was launched in 2004 under the new General Medical Services (nGMS) to support general practice with capacity-building resources and strategies and commenced its work in June 2007. In just three years of its existence, WiPP has designed, developed, tested and delivered a range of valuable tools, working in collaboration with over 100 NHS and lay organisations.

Kent House worked closely with the WiPP team in order to make the look and feel of the website as visually pleasing, standards-compliant, accessible and user-friendly as possible. The website has such interactive features as discussion forums, knowledge-base, multimedia resources in .mp3 and .wma formats, and an email newsletter service. These features educate users of the site and help the client to communicate quickly, effectively, and cheaply with users.

The website was built around and driven by our bespoke content management system (SiteManager), which gives the client control over the site.

Although the WiPP Programme has officially ended in 2007 and no new educational resources are added to the site, Kent House was asked to host the WiPP website for many years to come.
