NHS Networks
This is the web presence for the NHS Networks. The site aims to promote and connect the many networks which exist throughout the NHS - and encourage the formation of new ones.
The site was originally designed by another developer. Kent House improved the coding behind the design to make it more standards-compliant, accessible, and user-friendly. In the process, we reduced the download-size of each page by more than 60%, meaning that pages now appear much more quickly for users.
The website was built around and driven by our bespoke content management system (SiteManager) giving the client control over the site. We also built interactive features such as discussion forums, Q&A's, and an email newsletter service, which help the client to communicate quickly, effectively, and cheaply with users.
The client has subsequently retained Kent House to provide ongoing development and support.
