Andrew Irvine

Developer

What's your name and where do you come from:

I'm Andrew Irvine and I've come all the way from the Shetland Islands.

Qualifications and job history:

I graduated from the Robert Gordon university in Aberdeen with a BSc in Computer Science and since then I have been contracting up and down the country as far south as London and as far north as Aberdeen. I have finally decided to settle down in a permanent role and Kent House seems ideal.

I have gained quite a lot of experience during my five years working as a PHP developer and hope to expand on my knowledge.

How long have you been with Kent House:

I started as a contractor with Kent House in March and was delighted when I was offered a permanent position within the company as I haven't worked with a friendlier bunch of people.

What is your role within Kent House:

My main role is developing web applications such as Insight for the NHS but also contribute to other projects when the need arises.

Likes / dislikes:

Dislikes: Boy bands and Jaffa Cakes

Likes: Singing, early folk and punk music, and those weird oatcake things you get here.
